ISPS Audit & Certification
The purpose of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) is to:
- Identify security threats and take preventive measures against security incidents affecting ships or port facilities used in international trade.
- To assess the threat and evaluate the risk of a potential unlawful act.
- To establish a number of important roles and steps to provide safety for the marine vessel such as Company Security Officer (CSO) and Company to approve the Ship Security Officer (SSO).
- Develop procedures that allows necessary communication and to assessed the performance of daily security protocols.
ICB CLASS is competent and reliable recognized organization duly authorized by several flag states, to carry out surveys and certifications based on ISPS Code including each flag state’s additional requirements.
Upon satisfactory completion of the surveys onboard, following certificates may be issued to the vessel:
- International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC).
- Ship Security Plan (SSP).
