Solas Surveys & Certification
The SOLAS Convention in its successive forms is generally regarded as the most important of all international treaties concerning the safety of merchant ships. Specifies the safety requirements onboard vessels on international voyages towards construction, stability, machinery, electrical installations, fire safety, life-saving appliances, navigation, communications and carriage of cargoes.
ICB CLASS is competent and reliable recognized organization duly authorized by several flag states, to carry out surveys and certifications based on SOLAS Convention including each flag state’s additional requirements.
Upon satisfactory completion of the surveys onboard, following certificates may be issued to the vessel in accordance with the SOLAS Convention, as amended, to vessels:
- Cargo Ship Safety Construction Certificate (CCC)
- Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate (CEC)
- Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate (CRC)
- Passenger Ship Safety Certificate (PASAC)
- Safety Certificate for High Speed Craft
- Carriage of Liquefied Gases in Bulk
- Certificate of Fitness for Gases in Bulk (GC Code)
- International Certificate of Fitness for Gases in Bulk (IGC Code)
- Carriage in Bulk of Dangerous Chemicals
- Certificate of Fitness for Chemicals in Bulk (BCH Code)
- International Certificate of Fitness for Chemicals in Bulk (IBC Code)
- Certificate of Fitness for Gases in Bulk (EGC Code)
